LØLØ at The Roxy: Intimate Night of Pop-Rock Chaos and Unfiltered Girlhood
The Roxy was buzzing before LØLØ even hit the stage. On her God Forbid A Girl Goes On Tour run, she brought out a perfect mix of pop-rock, edgy anthems, and brutally honest feelings to the crowd that felt more like friends rather than a bunch of strangers.
Between the slow songs with lights beaming in the air to screaming lyrics and infectious energy, her “talk out loud with her diary” skit was the moment of the night, raw, vulnerable, and refreshingly real. LØLØ also revisited her rise to viral, long awaited POV response to the Plain White T’s “Hey There Delilah,” bringing back her former tour opener, GUS, for a full circle moment to perform with her.
With the balance of high energy, pop-rock and unfiltered vulnerability, LØLØ’s concert at The Roxy captured everything that makes her a compelling artist. From the high energized dancing to the more personal moments between songs, the show maintained its connectedness without losing any energy or momentum
