All Time Low | Harrisburg

August 26, 2021

All Time Low returned to Harrisburg’s most popular venue for a great night of live music and celebration. Openers Grayscale and The Maine provided incredible support for the second show of Harrisburg University’s summer concert series.

Enthusiastic fans lined up around the block starting in the early afternoon, despite the 90 degree heat. A dream lineup for some fans, the openers only reinforced the strength that Harrisburg University is bringing to the Central PA music scene. All three bands wasted no time getting on stage and doing what they missed the most, connecting with and performing for their fans. Grayscale and The Maine offered lengthy sets, packed with new and older hits. They are probably some of the best openers that I have seen, and meshed so well with the fanbase there to see All Time Low. Grayscale was celebratory and loud, and The Maine was expressive and connected so deeply with the audience. I would absolutely see either of those bands again.

All Time Low graced the stage through a curtain of applause. They bring such a warm, welcoming energy that envelopes the whole crowd as they begin playing. The audience members varied so drastically in age, and they made sure to play songs from every era to include all of their fanbase. All Time Low always seems to enjoy their time in Harrisburg, and we can’t wait to have them back again.

Special thanks to Harrisburg University. Harrisburg University is the only nonprofit STEM-focused school between Philly and Pittsburgh, currently with just over seven thousand students. Within the past two years, Harrisburg University has worked (and succeeded) to bring some of the biggest names in music to the Central Pennsylvania area. Past acts have included PVRIS, Death Cab for Cutie, Earthgang, and The Struts; these shows were extremely well-attended and caught people’s attention. Over the course of the next few months, the Harrisburg University Concert Series continues with acts including: Misterwives, Bishop Briggs, Young the Giant, Portugal. The Man, Cage the Elephant, Bleachers, and Cold War Kids. Harrisburg University is reviving the live music scene in Harrisburg, and these shows are just the beginning.
