From June 5th - 7th, Flushing Meadows Corona Park will be filled with over 100,000 fans attending Governors Ball’s 15th annual festival. This festival started in 2011 and has continued to grow each year. Across the festival’s three stages, over 60 performances will be happening, including sets from headliners Lorde, Baby Keem, Stray Kids, Kali Uchis, A$AP Rocky, and Jennie. With performances spanning many genres, including pop, hip-hop, R&B, EDM, and so much more, there is something for everybody and plenty of opportunity to discover your new favorite artist.
I have been going to this festival for the past few years, and it is always a blast. Whether I am alone or with friends, there are always so many activations, food options, and music to keep you entertained. I think this year is going to be the best one yet, and I can’t wait to document the festival and discover new talent.
