Texas born Chase Pollock has been in love with acting since age 10 while starting out in theater production. Chase plays lead in a short film drama entitled Mount Liptak, as well as having roles in other short film dramas such as The Colonel, Personality Rehab, and Clique Wars. Chase most recently played the lead role alongside actor Ed Asner in the film Santa Stole Our Dog: A Merry Doggone Christmas. We interviewed him to learn more on the film, acting, and what he likes to do when he's not acting!

Who/what inspired you to pursue acting?

CHASE: "My fourth music teacher recommended me for a high school theater production and after the first rehearsal, I was hooked.  I've always loved entertainment in general, so I'm grateful to have the opportunity to act."

What was your first acting job like?

CHASE: "My first acting job was a theater production and an awesome experience being one of the youngest in the cast!"

You star in the film Santa Stole Our Dog: A Merry Doggone Christmas! – can you tell us a little about the film and your character, Tommy?

CHASE: "Santa Stole Our Dog is a wonderful, feel-good movie about a family's journey to the north pole and back to find their dog Rusty who Santa accidentally steals on Christmas Eve! I play the role of Tommy, your typical teenage boy!"

For this film you worked alongside actor Ed Asner. What was it like to work with him?

CHASE: "Working with Ed was an honor and an amazing experience everyday on set with him. He is a great guy and hilarious! The whole cast crew were a lot of fun!"

This we can also see you as the lead in Mount Liptak, a short drama film. What can we expect to see from this role of yours?

CHASE: "This was a dramatic role and I absolutely cherished the opportunity to play the role of Lester Liptak. The film is based on the real events leading up to his enlistment as an underaged serviceman in World War II. An amazing heartfelt story."

Do you have any favorite memories from filming on the set of Mount Liptak?

CHASE: "First day on set we got to film at an airstrip with some vintage World War II aircraft and equipment, it was fascinating. I also had some powerful moments on set with my on screen parents and Officer. My siblings on set were also adorable."

When you aren’t acting, what type of activities do you like to do?

CHASE: "I like to trail run, hang with my friends and play video games. I'm snowboarding for the first time this Christmas, so I'm excited about that!"

If you could work with anybody in the industry, whether it be on a TV show, movie, or something else, who would it be and why?

CHASE: "I admire Leonardo DiCaprio for numerous reasons. I have a lot of respect for his foundation and I love his work. He is a great actor."
